Wedding Shows around Bristol and Somerset
The wedding show season is the perfect opportunity to view a large selection of wedding services face to face. Shows are usually held at venues licensed for marriages, however a recent development was the launch of The Wedding and Fine Events Show at the Royal Bath and West Showground in Somerset. You can save yourself time by going to a wedding show where everything you will need is to hand. Wedding services are not usually found on the High Street. Here are some spring and autumn wedding shows to look out for
The Wedding and Fine Events Show at the Bath and West Showground in Shepton Mallet on 27th and 28th March 2010. Discover more of everything at the largest 2 day wedding event in Somerset. Wedding Venues and Exclusive Use.
Exclusive use means that your wedding is the only one that day. Smaller country house venues such as Compton House in Axbridge offer the couple exclusive use. Larger venues can and will hold up to three weddings on the same day during peak season. If you don't want to share your day with anyone else, book an out of season or midweek wedding, or choose a venue which can only do one wedding a day.
Wedding Venues and Extras!
Many venues have an 'all inclusive' packages which give you a good idea of how much it will all cost, however some venues charge extra for hiring table linen and furniture so ask about this before you book.
Wedding Ideas and Money Savings.
Many venues offer you a discount if you book a midweek or Sunday wedding. It is worth the enquiry and it could save you pounds if you go ahead. Weekday weddings are becoming very popular with couples who want to save a bit of cash.
There is a very relaxed feel to the traditional wedding breakfast nowadays and afternoon tea is becoming a fashionable alternative along with a pig roast or homecooked buffet in the evening for all your guests.
